A few days ago, we told you to expect Lenovo and Google to make an announcement on January 7th related to a new Project Tango device. This is the project that uses a combination of cameras and sensors placed on mobile devices to produce 3D mapping. While developer versions of a smartphone and a tablet have both been available, neither were designed for consumers. Today, Lenovo announced a phablet for consumers based on the technology... There are no details about the new Moto X smartphone at the moment, but this might follow the path of the first model, being more affordable than other flagship handsets...
The Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup may support improved fast charging, according to one industry source. The tech will replace Samsung's current 15W solution and will compete with Huawei's SuperCharge 2.0 tech. The Google Pixel XL, the larger of Google's first two Pixel phones, comes with a bigger screen and a bigger battery compared to its sibling. At its core, however, it remains identical.
